My least favorite Anaheim based thrill attraction has to be the Brian Fuentes roller coaster!

Great line!

I am very proud of my favorite baseball team tonight, no matter what.

And this time, they saved their manager's bacon.

Not in our house, you don't, Yankees!

More later!

GO ANGELS!

I've priced tickets there. They were comparable to angle stadium....only slightly higher. Playoff and WS games will be more expensive.

I'm sure the angles love when the Yankees and red sox play here...their ticket prices increase for those games.

My heart skipped a beat at least five times from the 7th inning on. Loved the passion Lackey showed when Scioscia came out. "This is mine". Very powerful (maybe not to the casual fan) to me. Hard to get on Scioscia for taking Lackey out, but in hindsight, it turns out to be a terrible move. I want to say that again...in hindsight.

I'm not a baseball fan, but that 9th inning was exciting ... I don't get to say that about baseball too often.

I don't know if anyone caught Lackey's interview with Jim Rosenthal after the game and Rosenthal asked Lackey about the walk to Posada in the 7th. And Lackey said "That was no walk".

I'm glad he said that ^. BTW does anyone know if they caught that wacko who went swimming in the rocks?

Thanks for the updates pal, I really appreciated them. I did go to the car and listen to the last inning. Good God, I nearly had a heart attack in the 10 minutes I was out there!

Hang on to your hats and glasses cuz this is the wildest ride in the WILderness!!!!

That is

A) recorded schpiel for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
B) soon to be recorded schpiel for Anaheim Stadium's home games as in "Now entering the game, Brian Fuentes!" "hang on to your hats and glasses cuz this is the wildest ride in the wilderness!!!"

In hindsight, it's a good thing the Angels cut Justin Speier as that would've doubled the risk of cardiac arrest for Angels fans

I had to stop listening to the game because I was getting out of my car for Disneyland, but wow, what a nailbiter! I am impressed by the Angels. Mike Scioscia is a helluva manager and the Dodgers made a big mistake by not letting him manage when he asked him. We got Jim Tracy and Grady Little instead... Yay.

As I've said a few times over the years, they should build a statue at the Big A akin to the one for Autry, maybe on the third base side, for Kevin Malone - the Dodgers GM at the time...remember him? the "new sheriff in the NL West"...

It pains me just a little bit every time I think that a former Dodger is managing the Angels, spawn of Satan that they are.
