No offense to you Polar_Bear, but It's only 2 games into that series and I'm already tired of seeing Kate Hudson everytime A-Rod contributes. That was a heck of a game though.

None taken. I don't know why they show players girlfriends anyway, it's not like they're baseball fans.

The Dodger outfielders catch balls. The Cardinal outfielders ball catches.

It's a subtle but important distinction.

Congratulations to the Dodgers. I thought they had a chance to beat the Cardinals, but never thought they'd sweep. They outpitched and outhit the Cardinals, and yes they got a break, but they were the better team.

Dodgers!!!

Looks like we will have at least until Thursday off, depending on if the Phillies/Rockies can even play. I know TV rules all, but IMO that game should be moved to the day game that the Dodgers/Cards had tomorrow instead of waiting until 8:00pm (mountain) to start the game.

That would make too much sense for MLB.

They could also move the Angels-Red Sox game for those that go to church, hang out til last call, or like me, need our beauty sleep.

By sweeping, the Dodgers cheated me out of a day's work tomorrow.

I'll be expecting either a check, or a case of Bigelow tea from Joe Torre.

It's just the right thing to do.

Sorry about your loss of work Barry, but I have a feeling Carpenter wouldn't have been so nice to the Dodgers the 2nd time around.

Now all I care about is getting to bed relatively early, for the 9:07AM start tomorrow...and seeing Scott Kazmir do exactly what the Angels got him to do, beat the Red Sox at Fenway. They can't give the Sox even a glimmer of hope.

What an outstanding job by Angel pitching, and by Mike Sciosia's strategy, in the first two games.

LATE PS...I think, in general, the TBS announcers leave a little something to be desired (I'm being kind).

It's a thrill to hear Vin Scully working radio only again (six innings) a real treat.

Looks like you'll have some time to dance. Assuming they can play again sometime soon, either the Phillies or Rockies will be at Dodger Stadium on Thursday. And while I don't think they were favored over the Cards, I'd have to think they'd be a favorite over either potential opponent - and they will be more tired.

So we'll be hearing about the whole "rest versus rust" argument.

And just over 12 hours from now...Kazmir against Buchholz...we'll see if both the Dodgers and Angels can get into baseball's final four, together, for the very first time.
