    Mike Scoscia Wins AL Manager of the Year Award

    I just heard that the American League Manager of the year award was given to Mike Scoscia.

    I thought I would start a thread about it because while other managers may have been more deserving, managing a team that had the success the Angels did with a sub par pitciing staff, injuries, and the Nick Adenhart tragedy deserves special recognition.

    The Angels may not have gone all the way but considering the season that they had, with all of their trials and tribulations, Scioscia deserves every bit of this award.

    Congrats Scioscia!

    After dealing with all of the tribulations this year, he somehow held it all together.

    No one deserved it more.

    I'm very happy for Mike Scoscia and the Angels. Its no surprise why LAA is constantly a playoff-bound team year after year. Well deserved!
