    Re: NFL Divisional Round

Well, I just spent the last 4 hours trying to avoid the game. I got called in to work and recorded the game to watch later. I made the mistake of checking my Twitter, and Rainn Wilson (Dwight from "The Office) just tweeted "J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!". Now I won't even bother watching the game and Nate Kaeding's 3 missed field goals.

The only thing left to say is Go Saints! Rooting for Drew Brees.

Sportscaster Quote of the week: Chris Berman "Suisham, 49 yard field goal, you'll never guess what happens...' buahahaha

I was hoping the ravens would do better, but they didn't... fell back to themselves. I called the Viking bash (good riddence cowboys), and the Saints. I went with the Jets only mainly as against the Chargers. I still don't think they are all that. I had to go with the ravens out of hope, but missed that one.

I still fear the Defensive line of the Vikings.. and if Farve can keep up his magic of late.. I see them sealing the deal.

Dallas' safety on that TD pass where he looked stunned and clueless was classic.

    Re: NFL Divisional Round

I'm rooting for the underdog and I hope the Jets can go all the way, their defense is playing outstanding right now and Sanchez isn't making idiotic rookie mistakes, most of the reason is because they're keeping it on the ground and getting good ground yards. I hope to see them go all the way, but they are in for a fight against the Colts

    Re: NFL Divisional Round

I had a good time at the Chargers/Jets yesterday. Met Adam Sandler, Warren Moon, Mary Murphy and Tom from Blink 182. Drank like a fish and ate like a king. But the Chargers lost by three on a day when Kaeding missed a pair of FGs inside 40 yards. Unreal. No Super Bowl trip for me this year. Maybe I'll go to Yosemite.

I will generally root for the underdog (unless they are playing one of my teams) but it's hard for me to root against the Colts. I think Payton Manning is arguably the best QB to ever play the game (and coming from a Joe Montana guy, that's saying a LOT). I'd love to see him win another Super Bowl.

The Colts will take an early lead, then sit Manning in order to protect him for the Super Bowl. And next year. And the next five after that.
