So Cornell started off good, but for the last 10 minutes of the first half it seriously looked like Kentucky was playing with at least 2 extra defenders.

For some reason, John Calipari just seems like a sleazebag to me. Makes it hard to root for Kentucky, although things appear to be setting up nicely for them to go all the way.

Apparently St. Mary's didn't think they beloned either.

It's currently 54 - 21 Baylor. I had Baylor going to the Final Four so I'm not surprised they are winning, but I am surprised by how much.

It's really the same old, same old. "Cinderella" stories are fun the first weekend, but when they get to the round of 16, or maybe 8, they fall by the wayside. (Yes, I do remember George Mason a few years ago.)

All I know is, that here we are at the Elite Eight, and three number one seeds are still very much standing.

^ Only two Barry. Syracuse and Kansas are out.

There are still some "cinderellas" amongst the teams left especially considering that most were picking all 4 number ones to go to the final 4.

Two of my Final Four Teams (West Virginia and Baylor) are still alive.

I somehow forgot about the 'Cuse losing. I stand corrected.

I want to see Kentucky go down. Anyone else share my feelings about Calipari?

If Duke loses I have 2 teams in the final 4 . I didn't have Duke going either. I had the other two #1 seeds. Oh well.

    Re: March Madness 2010

I've been wrong about this thing in a couple of previous posts...this has been a pretty good tournament, and while we don't have any real "Cinderellas" in the final four, I don't think that many were looking at Butler, or Michigan State, to be in the Final Four.

I think 'll be rooting for West Virginia, because I've always been a fan of "the logo", the guy that Chick Hearn called "Zeke from Cabin Creek", the guy that was magic long before Magic in LA.

I didn't know that Jerry West's son was playing for the Mountaineers!

Since Kentucky's out, I don't have a problem with any of the remaining teams maybe winning it. Coach K is great, I like Tom Izzo and Magic's Spartans, and Butler...what a story that would be,

We'll be hearing a lot about it, surely, between now and Saturday.

Hat's off to Baylor. I loved watching them play. Their defense, and passing the ball offensively - I hope there's still a place for that in this world of one year and out racehorse studs, in your face slamma jamma.

I'll be rooting for Tom Izzo and the Spartans. But it would just be amazing if Butler made it to the championship game.
