    World Series

Now that two teams (Rangers and Giants) have made the World Series, who will be the one to win it all?

    Re: World Series

Having seen the Giants several times this year, I NEVER would have predicted them to be where they are tonight. N.L Champs.

Texas led pretty much start to finish. Outside of Lee, S.F has superior pitching and Home Field Advantage.... Giants in 6.

This is going to be a good series. Ultimately I think the Giants have the better pitching staff, but I would like to see the Rangers win.

    My prediction: Rangers in 7

I bet with the Giants and I'm rooting for the Rangers. So either way I win.

No, The Rangers team is about 1/2 former Angels.

As a Dodger fan, I can't root for the Giants ... so go Rangers!!!

    Re: World Series

So with NBA, NHL, NCAA Football and NFL going on during the World Series, is anybody actually planning on watching?

I'll probably watch a little but more to see the ends of games. I don't think I'll actually be sitting down to watch any complete games.

I know the league always likes to blame the teams playing but I think it's more because the season goes on too long and there are too many gaps between games and series. People lose interest, I certainly know I have.

Those Warriors just can't catch a break can they.

Not the prettiest of World Series games with 6 errors total (4 by Texas). Giants win game 1.

I forgot the game was on. Turned it on in the 7th and quickly lost interest. On a positive note I cleared the whole level of cut the rope with all 3 stars while the game was on.

It has been torture, ugly, and a hard road. Lets hope this group of no names brings San Francisco what Mays and Bonds couldn't. A WS Trophy. (But i am glad Bonds will NEVER win a ring- even if it was at the PAIN of Eisner winning one)
