    Re: The Super Bowl Thread

Barry, I do agree that the Divisional and Championship rounds are much better than the actual Super Bowl (for the most part). It's hyped up so much that it can never match it.

At least we don't have 5 weeks to wait like another "Championship" game.

(And yes, I put the BS ... er, BCS "Championship" game in quotes because I don't consider it to be an actual championship game)

    Point well taken!

And in the BCS format I don't know that either of these teams would be there. Certainly not Green Bay.

Yeah, in the BCS format it would be Atlanta and New England.

I guess the owner could come back with, we've spent money with the Bears, so where do we draw the line, but, assuming there's nothing more here than meets the eye? Pleeeese.

Yeah I guess the car dealership does work with the chicago bears. And the owner didn't want buyers to be turned away because of a man wearing a packers tie. I think its bs to be honest. The owner was just a poor loser and needs to learn how to take a lost like a man

I heard Jay Cutler's knee was twisted by 45 degrees and hanging sideways in the huddle before they took him out of the game. Can't believe all these haters were dishing all the hate before they knew what actually happened.... Phillip Rivers..... I'm looking at you.

^ Yet he was able to go out to eat and walk up-stairs that night with no crutches.

Say what you will about Philip Rivers, but that dude played with a TORN ACL (not Sprained MCL). There is a BIG difference ... look it up.

And now you start hearing that Tom Brady was playing with a stress fracture in his foot, etc for the last few weeks.

And, I don't see his team going to the Super Bowl. Maybe the backup should have played.

Meantime, it's now a mere 263 hours, 24 minutes to kickoff of Super Bowl 45.

I'll take an injured Tom Brady over most any backup qb I've ever seen.

And omigosh can you stand it....a mere 101 hours 34 minutes to kickoff..can you stand it....

Dallas sure is an awful place for the SuperBowl this year. I read seven people have been injured by falling snow from the roof of the dome! Two in critical condition!
