Game time! Only 3 more hours until I actually get to watch it. Probably best to watch hockey and drink beer after your kid's open house at school.

I don't get this all that much. Bitz gets two games for that hit. Weber turnbuckles Zetterberg WWE style and gets a $2,500 fine. The league is anything but consistent when it comes to discipline.

The Flyers / Pens series has been nuts. 20 goals in two games is pretty insane. Looks like we got a good day of hockey today. Can't wait until 4:30 to see if the Sharks can take a 2-0 lead. Hawks / Yotes should be another good one too!

Now your boys definitely need to pull out the next one. 3-0 is usually the death knell. I'm definitely not writing Vancouver off though. They have more than enough ability to even that series up over the next two and I honestly think they may... even on the road.

Wow! The Hawks will NOT go away in the last seconds of the 3rd for the second game in a row.

I'll take a 1-1 split heading back to San Jose. All they gotta do is win all 3 games at home to take the series, though I really think they're going to have to get a win in St. Louis to get to the next round. Hopefully it won't be game 7. I hate game 7s.

Los Angeles Kings take a commanding 3-0 lead against the Canucks. This looks to be a sweep! Go Kings!

Been amazed at how the Kings have been playing against a very good Vancouver team. And here I thought my beard would be trimmed rather quickly. Hoping they can wrap up the Sweep because they don't want to give Vancouver any life and for sure don't want to go back to Vancouver.

I think Brendan Shanahan may just have a dart board he's throwing at when it comes to player discipline this post season. $2,500 for Weber, but a 3 game suspension of Hagelin for an elbow to the head? Then, a one game suspension for Matt Carkner viciously beating an unwilling combatant while he's down on the ice? I totally agree with the Rangers statement of being "thoroughly perplexed".

Basically... this will get you 3 games:

    This will get you one:

And this will get you zero:

    Am I missing something here?

The Canucks have another Stanley on their minds... the putting greens in Stanley Park.

I agree. I was thinking Vancouver was going to make it a challenge. Instead, the Kings are really making an effort of getting past the 1st round. Hopefully this ends on Wednesday!

Sharks may not be too far behind them. They're just being outplayed in that series. The Blue's defense is not to be taken lightly. It is the real deal. Thursday is a must win.
