On this Day in 1947, A man named Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier of baseball.
Jackie faced discrimination and hardships while trying to be accepted by the folks of
Major League Baseball. He won the Rookie of the Year award and made his way into
The National Baseball Hall of Fame. Jackie Robinson isn't just special to the Dodgers organization,
but to the entire league, for he paved way for great players to be in the game such as Willie Mays and Hank Aaron.
Whether you're a Dodgers Fan, A Diamondbacks Fan, or a Giants fan like myself, today lets pay respect for one of baseball's
great heroes. Today, we are all 42

I could not agree with you more.

And the Angels are like a new hamburger at Jack In the Box. In other words, they are a "hot mess".

I saw 42 as well. It was an amazing movie. I really liked how they brought several ballparks back to life such as the Polo Grounds, Ebbets Field, and Crosley Field. I also enjoyed learning about his legacy and the things he had to deal with.

I am hardly an expert on the subject, but I believe CGI was used for those very well done effects.

From the "you can never have too much pitching" department...the Dodgers lose another starter. Chad Billingsley facing Tommy Johnson surgery...gone for a year.
