NHL 06/07 Season, Lets Talk Hockey

Well, the 06/07 Season is coming up fast, most deals have been made, and most teams are built. Predictions? Comments? Who do you think is going to be on top and who's going to be cleaning off their golf clubs early?

I'm sure you could... because that would mean being able to look into the future.

Unfortunately it looks as if the Blackhawks are in for another dissapointing season. They're a talented team that will continuely get better as choc full of good young prospects, but certainly not near the level to even make it to the playoffs.

Well since I am a Chicagoan, I will root for them. I can't predict the future, but wouldn't it be great. White Sox in the World Series. Bears in the Super Bowl, and the Black Hawks in the Stanley Cup.

Splash, I know you can't wait for the next season to start, (there will be a next season, right? ) so you can erase that painful memory the Mighty (well not anymore) Ducks taking game seven in Calgary...

For the record, the current "Talkin Baseball 2006" thread (the one I started) was opened, as you will read in the Original Post, one day before the season started.

Other threads popped up in spring training. I agree, the more sports threads the better - and in no way do I wish to underplay your excitement.

Well yes, but how come I remember a thread that said "forget the NBA, the NHL, and heck even the Olympics, baseball camp is just around the corner!"

Oh well, even though hockey is still a little ways a way there is still much to discuss... like the hilarious Pronger fiasco.
