may as well add Florida to that group now too.

very happy to see Arizona State put Stanford away and keep them there tonight! Going to be great down the stretch with USC, Cal, Oregon, ASU and UCLA!

Did anyone else notice the flag happy ref's from the USC/Wash. game yesterday? And those incredibly ridiculous penalties against USC? Yeah, sure a few were right on...but the pass interference? The "personal foul late hit" on McKnight and a couple others!? Holding calls missed on Wash!?

Those refs must have had money on LSU being #1 in the AP this week...
Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."

thats funny that you say that because i was watching it and chatting online with a couple of my friends and cousins during the game and they all said that at the same time hehehehe.... total crappy officiating. it's sad when the ref's control the pace and the game the way they did.

i wonder if it was the same pac-10 crew as the oregon - OU game.

So when Charlie Weis was being coveted and worshipped his first couple years for Notre Dames success....what are they saying now? I mean after all he WON with Ty W's recruits, and now he's LOSING with his own recruits.

Who's owed the congrats on Charlies successful year(s)?

    lol...just sitting back and laughing.

Like it really matters now. All that matters is being 1 or 2 in the BCS in late December.

A tragic story from Memphis, Tennessee.

Taylor Bradford, a reserve defensive lineman for the University of Memphis, was shot and killed on Sunday night on the school campus at the age of 21. Classes were cancelled Monday (10/1) and a moment of silence will be held prior to Tuesday night's (10/2) nationally televised home game (at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium on ESPN 2) against Marshall.

That's what I told hubby. Who cares right now, as long a USC keeps winning, I'm okay.

Ol' FroomiousBoojum's dancin' in the streets. He'd love to see an matchup between Southern California and The Ohio State University...but not in the Rose Bowl Game, mind you.

Re: The Official 2007 College Football Thread

Can someone explain to me how Utah decides whether or not to show up for a game? 0-2, then stomping UCLA, then losing 27-0 to UNLV, then beating Utah State, and now beating Louisville @ Louisville.
