I'm a bit worried about the Chargers. Their defense looked sloppy in the preseason. There's nothing like starting out with the defending NFC Champions followed by the Patriots to see what you're made of.

I guess we'll find out a few hours from now.

    GO CHARGERS!!!
And don't worry about your Chargers. Now that LT is playing, the defense will be able to play with a lead and really get after the other team. It's all good.

Also realize that many defensive coordinators play 'vanilla' defense in the pre-season to try out personnel and not give away their season's strategy too early. The games start counting now and all bets are off!

Nope, not at all. I became a fan accidentally. It all started with a friendly bet that turned into a love for the team.

Okay...you have to hand it to Da Bears defense. End of the first half and it's a grand total of -1 yards for Ladanian Tomlinson. Or here's an idea: Maybe next year he can play some preseason ball instead of sitting on his butt so he'll remember how hard he was working last year.

And Norv Turner. It's like Marty ball on steroids. This is JUST like last year! Run the ball up the middle...and when that doesn't work....run the ball up the middle.

And Rivers....WHAT was he doing all Summer? Forgetting how to throw?

And in true Bizzaro World fashion, the DEFENSE is the only thing keeping the Chargers alive right now.

Bah. The whole getting rid of Marty last year just to get the "genius" of Norv Turner was beyond stupid. What happened right after the second half of the Patriots game last year was a debacle that continues this afternoon.

I was excited for one game today.

The Detroit Lions at the Oakland Raiders in The Toilet Bowl!

Well, nine more wins for Jon Kitna to meet his guarantee for the Lions...they withstand a charge in the second half and come back to win, and rub it in the face of "Raider Nation" 36-21.

The Bears today served notice that their defense is as good or better than last year's. And the Chargers will undoubtedly have an adjustment period with the new coaching staff.

Still, San Diego won today at the "Q", 14-3.

What a boring chargers game today. The Bears offense is good, but a good offense certainly showed a way to overcome good defense today.

Can't wait to see my 49ers in Prime-Time tomorrow.

Yeah...but that was one of the ugliest wins the Chargers have had in recent memory. Twelve men on the field, guys running into each other, Rivers throwing like he's on acid, Tomlinson continuing to run up the middle...like that brick wall will give in on the 402nd try, dropped passes....it just goes on and on.

But...a win is a win, and over this monster Bear defense, pretty good all things considered. Awesome that LT chucked another touchdown pass, and that, once they SPREAD OUT THE DEFENSE (HELLO!!) Tomlinson began to move the ball. And...did I see that correctly? Did Turner have more yards than Tomlinson by the end of the game?

And I HAVE to believe that this day was a complete anomally for LT. TWENTY FIVE YARDS?

Next week, I'd like to see more passing from the shot gun, as the offensive line seems as wobbly as last year, and for gosh sakes...set something up for LT, rather than "Here's the ball. Run up the middle." And I have a feeling someone else is open other than Antonio Gates. I know we lost McCardell, but Jackson and Parker have to be down there somewhere. Just don't overthrow them by 15 yards!

And bummer that they lost Sproles with a concussion. I hope he's ok and will be back in form next week for the Patriots.

And finally...kudos to the Charger Defense. They really brought it today.

So glad that the Chargers won this week but the first three quarters of that Chargers game were so boring I actually fell asleep. I really hope that doesn't end up being our Super Bowl this year. But LT to Gates for the TD loved it.

Really I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I had the Sunday Ticket... I'd be constantly flipping between all of the games!

Today's game was the best thing that could have happened to the both of these teams ... one of them had to win

Broncos win 15-14 on a last second FG by Jason Elam, against the Bills. Jay Cutler threw for 304 yards with 1 TD and 1 interception. Go Broncos!
