    Any OC soccer fans?

Do we have any Orange County soccer fans out there?

Many of you may know that I work at UC Irvine and we have two doubleheaders this weekend with our men's and women's soccer teams. Our men's soccer team is ranked No. 20 in the country and the women's team is 3-1 on the year. Friday the games start at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday they start at noon.

It's a great place to take kids who enjoy playing soccer to get to see Collegiate Soccer, Sunday is even Family-Fun day with a bounce house and face painting and more.

If you plan to go, send me a PM and I'll be sure to come over and say hi before or after the games.

I really should move over to our marketing department.

I don't live in the OC, but I am a soccer fan. I've been playing for 13 years. I've been to a couple of men's UCLA games - mostly in the playoffs. And my sister is attending University of Portland, so I've seen a lot of the Pilots games - men and women - especially in 2005 when the women's team won it all. Good luck to UC Irvine this year.

I actually worked at UP before moving here, I worked there in 2001, just before they won for the first time in 2002.

Cool! I never saw any games in 2002 though. My sis didn't go to school there yet.

My soccer team won today, 9-4. A close one for sure.

I may use a baseball stadium in my avatar, but I am an avid soccer fan as well. Both my kids play club here in So. Cal. and my daughter is an mvp in her high school league as a freshman. We have Galaxy season tickets as well as Angels, I guess you could call that pro soccer? The games are not as great as EPL games, but they're good enough.

I am not really a soccer fan, mostly because I don't know too much about the sport. But I live only 3 miles from UCI so maybe I can catch a game sometime. Don't think I can this weekend but perhaps and hopefully someday soon.
