Thanks Barbaraann. Did you hear that I got to sit by some really nice Cub fans last night? We had a lot of fun. It's refreshing to watch baseball with fans who love an exciting game.

Yes, I did read your post.
I don't attend a lot of baseball games anymore. I find that for the most part fans are fine during the season. It seems that when the playoffs come, the fans seem to get a little wacko. I am enjoying all the games so far.

So I can do a Jack Brickhouse, and hope until the very last out that this Cubs team could still win this game.
Then again, somebody better tell the Cubs.

One of the great things about baseball - no game clock to fight in order to come back.
Here's to a Cubs comeack tonight, and another for my Angels tomorrow.;)

I can honestly say that I believe the Cubs have the best fans in baseball. They have to. Other teams fans have left them, when the team didn't win. Not the Cubs. Baseball is a hearbreaking game for a Cubs fan, and yet the fans show up. Some people would say that isn't very smart. Cubs fans lead with their hearts.

Well I am not a happy Cubs fan. Then again, the Diamondbacks are obviously a whole lot better than we are. Now as the Cubs head back to Wrigley, we shall see just what this team is made of.

I give the Diamonbacks a lot of credit.

Re: Stop By, and Say Hi, Sports Fans!
Since the Cubs game ended so late last night, there's no analyzing it in today's paper, which is a good thing.
If you ask me how I like the Cubs' chances now, I can honestly say, I'll just be happy if they don't get swept. It seems they are not as good as some predicted.
As a fan you like to give them all your support and loyalty. However, the other team's talent, at this point just makes them seem worse than they actually are.
Just telling it like it is. I'll be watching it tomorrow. The Cubs still have my support, that won't change, but ......well ....stay tuned, and see what happens now.

Re: Stop By, and Say Hi, Sports Fans!
It's hard to believe that the Yankees are in the same boat as the Cubs. Each of them have lost 2 games on the road, and they are headed back to their own stadiums.
The Angels game is still being played. It is all tied up at 3.

Bottom of the eighth, and now Vladdy Guerrero is out of the game after being hit on the shoulder by a pitch...the Angels have had just one scoring inning in two games so far...this is a MUST win for the Angels tonight. That Yankees and Cubs boat is crowded enough already.

Re: Stop By, and Say Hi, Sports Fans!
The Angels have been fortunate. You give the Red Sox six walks (so far)and you're flirting with disaster. Boston has just four hits so far.

It's not that hard for me to believe. they have been in the play offs before and did not advance. Tonight was a good game....last night I pretty much lost interest.
