HA! Go Lakers! Even though I'm skeptical about Monday nights game, I'm hoping they can sweep it and rest their legs for Utah..... or Houston.

Three-time MVP Larry Bird, noting that Bryant has been the NBA's premier player for years, told Sports Illustrated's Dan Patrick before this week's announcement, "When someone told me the other day that Kobe hadn't won an MVP trophy, it sort of made me feel like I wanted to throw mine away."
Lakers and Spurs sweep are they destined to meet in the WCF?

Lakers and Spurs usually have to play each other at the WCF since they are both the best teams in the West.
and hopefully Bynum can put in a few minutes and tip the scale towards the Lakers in the front

Thank you POISONEDAPPLES!
I was rooting for the Suns. Well, that explains it.
And as I watched Shaq clank free throw after free throw in game five, I couldn't help remembr what he used to say as a Laker...and what John Calipari was saying a month ago about his Memphis team...don't worry, they'll make em when it counts most...
Uh, guys, when will that be?
Soon to be unemployed - Dantoni (not fair), Avery Johnson (well, fair)...
Thank you POISONEDAPPLES!
I wouldn't count out New Orleans, they look pretty good too. That should be a good series with San Antonio.
I just hope they kick the crap out of each other for 7 games so they are tired when they meet the Lakers.

There was a article today that D'Antoni wanted Shaq as much as GM Steve Kerr did because of Marions attitude and him causing Amare Stoudamire to have an attitude.
Signs point to D'Antoni, if he leaves, to head to Toronto to rejoin Bryan Coangelo, or Chicago where he'll be in a more stricter environment. I'm sure Cuban will be throwing some cash to him too, but I wouldn't touch that Dallas team where the owner gets TOO embedded and involved

Not only does the owner get too involved that is the least athletic team in the playoffs. Dirk has no athleticisim, Kidd is old, Howard has dented his trade value with mary jane comments. That leaves Ericka Dampier,Jason Terry, Jerry Stackhouse as your others who have no athleticism no either. They have one guy who is athletic as a starter and one role player Brandon Bass. No Thanks. If D'antoni is smart he will take the Bulls job and run. Literally with those athletes that system could work very well in the East. Hinrich, Gordon, Deng, Noah, Thomas, Sefolosha, Hughes, Duhon and Nocioni all very athletic and can get up and down to run the break.
Be smart and become a Bull.
