There is alots of History to the Ship thanks to Walt Disney,

I think it's amazing that the work crews wore period costumes while they worked on the Columbia because they were in sight of park guests. It's so unfortunate that we don't see that kind of attention to thematic integrity anymore. I wonder if the park could even find workers willing to do that today.

I'm an electrician and I would! That's not something you would ever forget. Loving this article, I always thought the Columbia had a certain mystery to it. Hopefully I'll be able to ride it someday.

I really miss the sails. I use to marvel at them while trying to shoot holes in them from Fort Wilderness. Another great article. Hopefully the powers that be at Disney read this stuff.
