![]() | Re: 9/3 Walt's Favorite, Pt. II I was at Disneyland on Opening Day, and my mother tells a story from those days. We were getting aboard the train, but my mother refused, saying it was too hot, no shade, and Walt Disney heard her. The next time we came to Disneyland, the train seating area had shade. |

![]() | Re: 9/3 Walt's Favorite, Pt. II I can't wait for part III. Perhaps Disney, ever desiring to be polically correct, will buy back the combine, paint it green and call it a hybrid!

![]() | Re: 9/3 Walt's Favorite, Pt. II Is Knott's getting rid of their old locomotive then? It's kind of funny what a convoluted, coast-to-coast deal that poor little engine went through just to end up moving a few miles down the road. At least it's found a good home... Knott's may be a shell of what it once was, but it's still one of the more authentic theme park representations of the Wild West. It's sad what happened to the combine car though! |
