Based on Steve's ongoing research and reporting on the DLRR, and especially the recent endeavors regarding the preservation and restoration of the combine, I recently became a member of The Carolwood Pacific Historical Society and have not regretted my decision for a moment.
Thanks for all your fine work and research, Steve.

Great job Steve! Thanks again for the time and effort you've put into this. Makes me wish I could get out to the D23 expo. Michael Aronson's poster looks awesome!

BT, on another board, you mention that you're building a model of the Combine. Any chance for a sneak-peek?

STEVE Great JOB!
I have tell you I wanted ,but have just been putting it off of being a member of
The Carolwood Pacific Historical Society .......sorry!
Now reading your story and preservation and restoration of the combine
Now YOU have now push me move forward and join ,
But Thank You for the pushing!
I think it would be neat part of Walt Disney other than his Disneyland Park!
His Railroad dreams have made it real so many for many year's and now it time to give back...

one requirement to be a Carolwood Member:
That you ride the steam train when in a Disney park!
Wow ,I woulder I fit that requirement ?I go to Disneyalnd with my pass and ride it each time I there and done so since I was kid ( like it is my Train) and also one's at Walt Disney World.
YES I think I meet that requirement!
Thanks again STEVE and other who help you!
Also to meet you someday and talk History subject I love!

I fear I don't ride the train when in the Disney Park(tm) known as DCA, but I almost always ride the one in Disneyland. My sister is deathly afraid of the Dinosaurs so I've missed riding it a few times.

Awesome conclusion to the saga of the combine!

Yup, I'm building a model of Walt's combine for my OO/HO scale Big Thunder & Western. Unfortunately, it's still in pieces all over my workbench right now but here's a good photo of one of the sides:
