About monorail widget (Merged threads)

OK, so I'm pretty sure everyone that owns a Mac on MiceChat has a monorail widget in their dashboard... My question is, has anyone made/thought of making a Mark VII monorail widget? That would be cool if it could create colors that don't exist, and you could move it in cyberspace to see the color shift... Ideas???

Me too! I'm on a Mac and don't have it. Can someone please post the link to this monorail widget?

....although I don't have the best of luck with widgets. My coke rewards widget was great for awhile until half of it disappeared(the cool half) never to be found again.

OK - so it's a monorail "widget". What does it do?

Now, if it came with a track and was designed to move along the track, it'd be a worthwhile widget.

So it's simply a nice looking little monorail image that sits on your screen... how exciting.

I'd rather take one of my monorail photos and make it my background image. At least that would have some purpose.

NOTE TO MODS: Throw this thread wherever you want; I just stuck it here because it pertains to the current Mark VII Monorail at Disneyland








For a long time, there was only one Monorail widget available, a two car Mark IV Monorail Widget

Now with the Mark VII Monorails making their way around the Disneyland beamway, there is now a way to have a Mark VII on your very own dashboard.

KAN and myself (Nautilus) have created a widget based off the Mark VII's for you to enjoy. You can pick which monorail you would like to display; either the Red, Blue, or Orange Monorail (*note, Monorail Orange was an artistic guess, as there are no photos of it currently. A later version of the Widget may be released once photos turn up and there is a significant difference).

On the project, I created the Monorail graphics from scratch in photoshop and KAN put together the Widget using the program DashCode.

So let's see - I am not cool enough because I have no desire to download what is essentially an oversize icon that when you click on it - it does absolutely nothing?

My friend - you didn't give me a reason to get a Mac - but instead gave me a reason to avoid a Mac user...
