iPhone Bill Help

Hey all you iPhone users,

I'm looking into getting myself an iPhone on the basic $69.99 AT&T Nation Plan with the 200 SMS message $5 add-on.

Is anyone on this plan that could tell me what their bill is with taxes and such so I can estimate how much I would have to pay.

I should add that I'll be a new AT&T customer.

I know I can't wait to upgrade to one next year. Since I'm already use an unlimited data/text plan, switching to the iPhone's unlimited plan won't give me "sticker shock" when that first bill arrives. My bill should stay about the same or even go down a little as I think the iPhone plan is slightly less than my current Blackberry plan.

I have that exact plan but with the autopay option I haven't looked at the exact cost in awhile. I think it's in the neighborhood of $83-85 with taxes.

And YES, the iPhone is totally worth it. Best investment I've ever made.

That's exactly the info I wanted. I think that it is worth it. With the add-ons that you get like GPS on Verizon, what I have now, you have to pay something like $29.95 monthly (at least that's what it is on my aunt's LG Dare).

I really didn't want the "sticker shock" that's why I asked. Thinking that you're gonna pay $75 monthly then seeing that it's actually somewhere in the $100's is one of those "Holy Crap!" moments that I wanted to avoid.

There are a few sites reporting a $99 iPhone will be sold by the end of the month at Walmart. It's a 4GB version, so if you don't need alot of capacity you can save more on your initial cost.

Interesting. Might be worth it for me, although I wouldn't be able to fit as many Disneyland Music Loops on it.
