Why are my images getting lighter when I upload them to photobucket?

I've been suspicious of this for some time, but it's now becoming more obvious that Photobucket is making my shots lighter when I upload them. Does anyone know the reason for this? Am I using the wrong color settings in photoshop when I resize or edit them? It's usually not by much, but it's becoming more noticeable lately.

    Any help?

I did notice there are options on photobucket on resizing when you upload, check for other options maybe in the upload screen.

Your photoshop settings should be excludable by just viewing the saved images before uploading them to photobucket.
