Re: looking for new camera

I have a Canon Powershot A1000 IS. 10MP, anti-shake, takes decent video.

Overall, take a look at Canon's lineup. I haven't heard any major complaints about them.

Re: looking for new camera

Go with a Canon that has your favorite features. You'll be glad you did.

All their point and Shoot models are worthy...

Re: looking for new camera

Canon PowerShots are good, as are Nikon CoolPix and Kodak EasyShare.

Re: looking for new camera

I've got a Nikon CoolPix and it works great! Love that camera - and it's not too expensive either!

Mine is the 8.0 megapixels
VR ISO 2000
2.5inch LCD
3x Opitcal Zoom
6.3-18.9mm

^ I have no clue what those specs mean...I just typed what the front of the camera says.

Re: looking for new camera

My vote for a point and shoot is for Nikon CoolPix. I have an older one 7200 and I love it.
