Well, the unwrapping has come and gone, what electronic toys did we all get?
I got my BluRay player and several movies (Star Trek, District 9, Night at the Museum 2, Up).
Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter
I'm past the getting-presents age aside from name-draws. We did that; mine was the choose-your-own-with-this-little-card variety, which will be going toward one of those modern computer monitors that will double for HDTV use. So I'll finally have gone hi-def.
^^ Don't pay too much for a HDMI cable. Those Monster brand ones they sell at Best Buy are WAY overpriced. You can get one for half that (or less) at Target. Or you can get them even cheaper online (Amazon, etc.).
My wireless mouse takes 1 AA battery (my mom also got me a 4 pack of those, so I'm set for awhile).
reminds me of a call I got from an aunt awhile back. she wanted me to come over to see why her computer wasn't working, she couldn't type. after some questions and answers. cpu was on, monitor was on, mouse was working, keyboard not working. no lights. I asked her if she might have loosened the plug. "no I don't think so, it doesn't have a plug" "ah, try changing the battery, if that doesn't work call me back"
