    Cleaning a laptop keyboard?

Is there a good way to clean a laptop keyboard? My space bar and a few keys are sticking or barely working unless I press really hard on them.
    Good morning, son

Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Unplug it from the keyboard. Pop the keys off with a butter knife and wash them in hot soapy water. Let them dry and pop them back on. You can also blow out the inside of the keyboard with compressed air, or pop all the keys off, wipe down the inside with a damp rag, let all the pieces dry completely, reassemble, then plug back into computer. Should be good as new.

Oops, I just read it was a laptop. Be extra careful. Power off the laptop and remove the battery before you do anything.

    Cleaning Laptop Keyboard

this involves carefully popping out keys though, and that makes me cringe

[edit]: actually i just tried popping out a few keys on an old Sony VAIO i had laying around for parts.. it was actually really simple. and easy to pop back in. i'd just be careful with them

I'm not going to risk it... don't want my laptop to be TOTALLY out of commission lol

Even if you break a key, that will most likely just be the plastic top. Replacements should not be too expensive and the key will still work.
