I have enjoyed FilesLite and iSeismo. But I'm nerdy like that.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. I love the NPR app. For games Tap Tap Revenge is a fun app. It's like Dance Dance Revolution for your thumbs.

I love Facebook, AP News, Chase (bank stuff), Shazam, Lemonade Tycoon, IMDb, and Photoshop Mobile.

In terms of Disney, I like Walkee for the maps and MouseWait for the wait times (though I'd steer clear of the lounge)

I have an iTouch as well and some of the iPhone apps that require a microphone like Shazam aren't applicable on the touch. Not unless you buy a microphone. I really like TapTap Revenge and Harbor Master Lite for games. I also have a Twilight Trivia Game. There are literally free apps for almost anything. Don't pay for an app unless you really feel the need to. Many of them require the use of internet so make sure you have wifi access a lot.

Doodle Jump, A Doodle Fly, Stone Loops (I think it MIGHT not be for sale anymore =( ), Traffic Rush, Line Up, and Sudoku are the games I play most.

Other useful apps are the Youtube Native app (which you have to get from Safari), Battery Magic, Grand Piano (I'm a musician, and I use this to record little ditties when they pop into my head), Pandora (which builds a radio station based on your musical preferences), and Flashlight.

Personally I love Guitar Hero (4 Vampire Weekend tracks!!!) but it's a paid app and you do have to buy additional songs.

I shop at Target a lot and their app is pretty useful as I can look up store hours and even if a particular item is in stock or not.

Thanks guys (and gals). There are some pretty cool apps here. .

I've already added Facebook (sad to see I can't play Mafia Wars on it though), bubble pop (it's like popping bubble wrap), and a app which allows the ITouch to sound like a lightsaber.

    Re: Best ITouch Apps?

my most used apps (keep in mind i use an iphone, so some may not be useful to you):
    • twitter (free)
    • facebook (free)
    • beejiveIM (aim, msn messenger, yahoo, facebook chat, gchat, etc) $9.99
    • photobucket and flickit (for uploading pics, both free)
    • photoforge (like photoshop for the iphone, but more powerful than the official photoshop app, $1.99)
    • talking carl (pointless fun!!, but it's $0.99)
    • flixster (movies times, rotten tomatoes reviews, trailers, etc. free)
    • imdb (who doesn't love imdb in your pocket! free)
    • shazam (song identifier - hold it to a song playing and it will tell you the artist and song name, album, info. free)
    • earthquakes (notifies me of earthquakes within a given radius, free)
    • mobileRSS (google RSS reader, free)
    • mousewait (wait times at disneyland! free)
    • flashlight (great in dark situations, free)

also, a fair warning.. some people get crazy over the names of these things so to clear it up, it can be called either an iPod Touch or simply the Touch.. but iTouch makes the person sound like a molester...

same with the iPod Shuffle, or Shuffle.. iShuffle makes you sound like you like to randomly dance..

If you go to facebook through Safari on the iPod Touch you'll get the mobile version. At the bottom is a link to the regular version of the site. Through this you can plan mafia wars just like on any computer.
