Fig you crack me up with your anecdotes. A spell check would be some 'hack' Malicious code that checks your spelling errors

ARRG! Because I just used Spybot, and now I have pop-ups from internet explorer every minutes or so, and I use Firefox!! The same went for the McAfee Virus Scan, after I used it my comp went all screwy on me. And whenever I start-up the PC a check disk comes on, and it corrupted my AOL software. The funny thing is the Virus Scan was provided free by AOL!! [endrant]

I went to www.downloads.com for Adaware Se, and that took care of ALOT of spyware and adware. Try that. Hopefully, it won't slow down your system.
Lately, the virus problem is getting worse.

That's because you have the internet explorer protection checked in your spybot settings. i forget exactly what it's called, but if you have it checked it pops up with warnings all the time.

Hmm, I know you already said you're not sure what it was, but could it possibly be the IE tweaks??

Well i know for spybot specifically, there is a checkbox in the settings that supposedly protects internet explorer from spyware. But all it does is pops up with warning messeges all the time.
