    My Synchronized Light Display

LOL I just threw this together in my room. It is quite impressive even though I put no real effort into programming it. Took 2 days to program.

That is just amazing. Any plans on actually doing next year's Christmas lights like that?

And also, what did it take to get this to work? I'd like to maybe make an attempt at it...

Here are pics of the equipment:

    My Equipment: www.animatedlighting.com
    Alternate Choice: www.lightorama.com

The equipment costs about 1200 dollars without a fm transmitter.

I did a very awesome display for halloween this year and I am considering making a christmas display next year as well as a new years eve show with the halloween show again.

    Re: My Synchronized Light Display

I used a Stage pack made by Elation professional which consisted of a DMX/Analog controller. I had to use DMX because I had Scanners shining Christmas gobos on the yard and a snow machine. All of my speakers were hidden rock speakers. And then after set up about 9 days later the scanners quit responding to DMX and then the whole stage pack quit sending signals to all of my lighting effects. I don't know what happened. I am into all of the pro Dj lighting such as American Dj and Chauvet lighting. I have many special lighting effects from lasers to scanners and foggers. But I personally liked your show better than mine.

Why thank you. But I didn't even try. You should of seen my halloween display when I had animatronics and all kinds of things. I have a light show with the haunted mansion walk through music that I edited myself. Even monitors and projectors were syncronized to go on at their specific timings. The singing busts were projected on the projector and madame leota was on a LCD screen covered with mesh so no one could tell. I got the actual footage and enhanced the picture. I would of posted that show but it is 23 min long lol.

Does this song and show come with the equipment as a demo or something? Or did you do this too?

No the song does not come with the equipment. I got the song myself and programmed it in the computer. Took me 2 days. I didn't try very hard and if I had the money I could beat that guy easily. I just need a house to do it on and some cash.

If you want a good halloween all disney butnot sounding like disney soundtrack for a loop, i have a pro mixed 40 min long soundtrack. Also what can you tell me about your system, im planning on getting one this year.. Hopefully! But i will start upgrading some lights, a few each year to LED strands. Also get an old 60's light bar from church and a few dimmer packs, par cans, and hopefully 2 flyaway dj scans, what to do what to do! And i think you need something else to occupy your time! Ha, how bout not, its a job after all!

Their live show/stage has quite a display of lights, including synchronized fire!

Is it a regular DJ Scan or a DJ scan 250, or neither?

Neither, just a term but its in sotage right now at church, its a flyaway dmx 250 watt floor scanners, kind of old even to big power draw for the chapel, 400 watt channels in there, so i can hook up 26, 90 watt lights on one channel, ooouuhhh yah! cant wait to get my hands on those! Hmm formulating ideas already, watch out neighbors!

Wow you kids have WAY too much time on your hands. Come to a meet on Sundays and maybe we can find you girlfriends.

(Kidding.... I just have no idea what a flyway dmx LED strand dimmer with a DMX/Analog controller is...)
