    Question FireFox Cut and Paste?

Overall, I'm liking FireFox. It's only crashed once (and I think that was a page error as it did it again when I tried to see the same page), which is what I like I think the tabbed browsing helps.

However, I'm having one huge issue. I can't copy and paste (or cut and paste) from the text on a site to anywhere. No matter how I do it (crtl c, the edit menu, etc) it'll copy the URL not the text! I can copy from a text box (like I could cut and paste this reply this reply) but once it's static on a page, it'll copy the URL not the text.

Any way to fix this? I did go to a few boards looking for help but couldn't find anything about this particular problem.

    Thanks!

Sorry, never had this problem before all of my cut & paste functions work fine in FireFox, and tabbed browsing is THE BEST! Sometimes I still use IE and I find myself trying to hit ctrl+t to open a new tab

You have to go back to the old editor for MiceChat. Just hit the change editor button at the top right of the quick reply box. You should be able to copy and paste after that.

It's noton MC, i don't think... I've actually realized a few things. When I try to paste into my Live Journal Client, it pastes the URL instead. But I can paste it into Notepad and it works OK. It happens too for something else... e-mail I think. But I just cut and pasted your reply into this box and it worked.

Not a deal, I guess, because ther'es a work around. Just a bit of a pain.
Thanks for the reply, though, I appreciate it!

I have always had the same problem, also when it fills in my user name for emails or for pms there is so many in the list and it will not let me delete the extra;s I have had a problem with cut and paste since the beginning. Yeah it sucks, so if I want to do it I have to go into explorer.
