May I ask, for the last two days all the images stored on the site seem to have broken links... Are you guys on this? or am I the only one experiancing this?

Oh, the Avatars work, but that is the only image that seems to work...

Okay, i've been having this problem for awhile now... All of the icons and reputation and buttons are all broken Images...
If you have Norton VirusScan on your computer, that is usually the source of the problem.
There is a simpler solution, but I advise you to dump Norton and use AVG Free...
Interesting. I am having the same problem at home (Norton) vs. the office (works fine, doesn't have Norton).Originally Posted by Bill
It used to work on the Norton system, but I did crank up my security level recently.
Avast! > AVG, becuase it's updated just as often and less intrusive/bothersome.Originally Posted by Bill
I have Norton and don't have that problem. *shrug*
No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...
depends on the internet sonnection & the security level it is set on..
(McAfee is the greatest when you have AOL)
Oh my gosh, I thought I was going nuts, I'm having the same problem and I do run on Norton. Everything was ok, and then suddenly a little over a week ago I started having the problem of all the icons gone and only the wording showing (boy is it confusing to read posts that way!).Originally Posted by Bill
What is the solution other than dumping Norton?
thanks
check your security level and see how "high" it is... then see if you can find a way to lower it for images... (I have never used it...)
Okay, I checked and my security level is at low and it is set to accept images, etc. This is the only site I am having this problem on. I visit another site that has an almost identical set up (just different colors) with alot of the same icons and images and I don't have problems there.Originally Posted by figment1986
Has anybody else been able to fix this?

Call it weird, but last week in Mexico (I was on a 7 day cruise), I checked MC from an internet terminal, and the images were broken. I know that they had Norton Internet Security installed on that computer, and some other stuff.
I however, think it may be a DNS issue with certain ISPs, or related to the DNS and Norton itself. If the problem is ongoing, contact your ISP, or Symantec themselves. This is clearly NOT an MC issue. It could also be that you are behind some sort of Proxy server. I will try fiddling with some stuff, but if the issue continues, then be sure to check with them.![]()
