I use WinXP Professional. In 3 years, it's only crashed once (when I was installing an Apple product...).

I started on Macs, but after I built my first Windows -based computer, I've never looked back.

But most importantly: None of the apps I need to ply my trades and hobbies will work on a Mac.

Born and raised on Macs, and I plan on using them for the forseeable future (considering my hopeful industry of choice is mainly on Macs.) Currently on my G4 Powerbook 17" running 10.3.8!

I love holding down shift and then minimizing windows. It's so cool to watch! (I'm way too easily entertained)

    Mac OSX.

It's the best operating system I've ever come across. Beautiful, stable, secure and easy to program.

hmm.. who would have thought that by taking an OS thats been around since the early 70s and merging it with Apple technology You would be able to crate a great OS...

(OS X and Linux are related....)

I use both Windows XP, OSX for Mac and have played with Linux.

I have to say that XP is very solid and not as frustrating as OSX (yes, I said frustrating). If itís so great why canít you put the menu bar at the top of your monitor??

You mean the dock/taskbar? Yeah, that's a bit of an issue in the war of Mac vs. Windows... I personally use Macs at school (graphic design, what do you expect), but can't quite make myself buy one for at home, so I simply kept my PC and threw Flyakite and Style XP over it to make it look like Mac OS X.

Mac will always be like a really fabulous foreign country to me. I love to visit it and think the people are friendlier, the architecture prettier and the infrastructure better... But I just don't speak the language that well and I'm too much used to living in the hell hole that is Windows, so I won't move there just yet.

I'm able to get things done equally well with XP and OS X. No issues there from a usage standpoint. I do, however, feel more comfortable using OS X mainly due to the numerous security holes in Windows. ActiveX, I'm quite certain, will some day find itself in the "What were they thinking?" file.

Also prefer Apple's iApps over their Windoze counterparts. Since they ship with the OS, I consider them to be part of the package even though they're not part of the OS per se.

I've had to use Mac's when helping out at the kid's school. I've always used Windows at home, currently using XP.
