    So, who wants an iPhone?

We've been discussing it, some drooling, some just looking, some willing to wait, some who don't want or need a new phone.

I want one! I may get one as soon as they come out, even if it means switching from Verizon to Cingular.

    What do you think?

I just spent a fortune on a Treo 700 a couple of months ago, so I'll wait; but just a bit. I break my Palm Pilot once every 10 months or so, and cell phone at least every other year, so I give the Treo until about Memorial Day. Then I get the iPhone.

My experience with Cingular is such that I'll pass on principle.

Now, if Verizon starts offering it... we'll talk!

In the meantime, I'm trying to decide between the Treo 700x or the Motorola Q

Its way out of my league price wise, but I'd consider getting one once it got to about the 3rd or 4th gen.

It's not just my next phone, it's my next iPod. But, I won't dump out of my T-Mobile account early for it. I had Cingular for years, and had no complaints - just got a discount for tmobile through work. Now my whole family is on one network with all those benefits... I'll have to wait.

Same here. I don't have an extra $500 laying around.
Press today is so concerned with cool vs. not cool that they're starting to forget good vs. bad. I'm not sure I'll ever be "cool", but I will always tirelessly strive to be "great". - Josh Groban

Re: So, who wants an iPhone?

I finally got to see the video of the Keynote, and I am even more wow'ed.

It looks like a piece of technology that my wife could use (and she doesn't even like TV remotes). So I may have to get two (2) and just say goodbye to Verizon. I've been with themsince 1994, but, well, this is the device that could make me change cell phone providers.

    Just MHO, YMMV

Well, I believe I just found my next cell phone but at $499, its going to be a bit before I get one. I really think this phone puts any other to shame. It really is the next gen cell phone.
