Right. Let me explain my situation.
For about twelve months, I have constantly been saving money for vacations, with money supplemented by a Saturday job. Until October 2006, it was for Florida and Disney World, then up until April 2007 it was for skiing in New Hampshire. Well now I have nothing to save for.
Since I got home from skiing, I've been thinking, well I'll just let my pile of money grow if I've got nothing to spend it on. There's no CDs I want at the minute, and I don't buy any DVDs any more because I rent them from Amazon. Whatever.
But then today I got an idea.
I own an Xbox, and before that a PSX. Yeah, you remember, the original PlayStation, none of this PSone nonsense. After that, I bought an Xbox, yet when the Xbox 360 was released it didn't appeal to me much. At that point I didn't really bother with video games. However, when Nintendo released the Wii, and it started getting rave reviews, I had to think again. It seemed that it could do so much more then just be a game player.
I want MiceChat to help me decide. What do I go for?
MICROSOFT XBOX 360
SONY PLAYSTATION 3
There's a few factors I want to take into account when deciding. I don't really want to spend more then £300 - around $580. I want a console which has staying power - the PlayStation 2 had legendary staying power, still releasing excellent games today when the PlayStation 3 is getting started. I want a console which will help me in coming years - for example, it has Blu-ray or HD-DVD capabilities, however that isn't so much a big deal.
Maybe owners of these consoles can put their opinions across?
