 | Re: Tivo - Why is it awesome? DVRs are great. The DirecTV DVR Receivers used to come with TiVo software, and were much better. They did what you told them to do. Remember, TiVo is a specific brand, not the general product. |

| Re: Tivo - Why is it awesome? I don't have TiVo, but I have a DVR thru the cable company. I love it. I have it set to record my soap every day during the week so I can watch at my leisure. It's great because I never have to worry about having a tape or running out of tape (my DVR stores of to 40 hours, but I usually erase a show, like my soap, after I watch it).
