    Saving stuff on your Ipod

I have a couple of questions - since I don't have an Apple Store anywhere close to me.

I've been trying to save a few audiobooks onto my Ipod - but they keep going into my music files. I can't get them to separate out. How do I do that?

Also, I've been thinking about using my Ipod as my back up for a lot of my pictures and home made videos. But I don't have a picture folder. Any thoughts on where to save them?

    Thanks!

I think I figured out the photos - but what about saving stuff from youtube to your Ipod?

well, I haven't used these but I'd try them: see http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/11/14...-on-your-ipod/

audiobooks - I'm assuming you grabbed the audio as MP3 from a CD? there's this approach for windows: http://www.shivaranjan.com/2007/07/0...ok-format-m4b/

or this more generally for mac or windows: http://www.dagondesign.com/articles/...od-audiobooks/

For backup, I'm assuming your talking about using your iPod for disk storage as like an external hard drive.
If you, enable Disk Mode in iTunes, and you should be able to just drag and save the photos onto the disk. You can open it from My Computer if your on Windows or it should show up in Finder on a Mac.
I don't think it matters where on the disk you save them, and you can create your own Photo folder in the actual disk.
    Good luck!
