For those of you who are fans of the two other books, it is now available in stores, yippie! ![]() I loved the last two books, and so far I'm loving this one as well! Anyone else planning on, or currently reading it?

![]() | Re: Brisingr (Third book of The Inheritance Cycle) I plan on reading it. I've read the first two. As much as I like the idea behind the story, the books themselves are not very well written. The amount of padding the author puts in there is criminal. How many times can we cross this same desert? He also lacks discipline, letting the story run away with him. His "trilogy" has expanded to a four-pack. Undeservedly, considering again how much he pads things out. The whole things could probably have been done in two books. Who knows. Maybe Brisingr is written more tightly. Lighthope Pearls of Wisdom - If we blame guns for killing people, then we should blame pencils for spelling mistakes. |
