What Attraction would you have gone on if you were around

Being the younger generation that we are we weren't around to see a lot of the early rides and attractions at DLand, which ones would you have wanted to be on?

The skyway to tomorrowland
Astro jets
people mover
flying saucers
the original submarine voyage
carousel of progress
adventure through inner space
the motor boat cruise
pirate ship restraunt
the conestoga wagons
rainbow caverns mine train
The tahititan terrace

Well I've been on CoP at WDW... but I would have loved to try the Flying Saucers or to ride Adventure through Inner Space. I also think the original subs and the Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship would have been fun.

Sing it with me: Miracles from molecules around us every where, there are miracles from molecules in the Earth, the sea, the air!

I think they're bringing a version of Flying Saucers to DCA, but they are giant tires...here's a quote from Wikipedia(I know, so reliable -_- )

"The other two attractions are going to be smaller family attractions with smaller height requirements featuring Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, a tea-cup like attraction, and Luigi's Roamin' Tires, looks like 1960s Tomorrowland "Flying Saucers" ride."

Cool, eh? Anyways, I looked up a vid of Rocket Rods a few days ago, and it actually looked pretty fun! It's like, one of the only fast rides at Tomorrowland ever, right? If they added music to it, like they did at Space Mountain, then it would've been a ton o' fun. Too bad so many people died from being dumb and jumping off the track...

was that really the reason? I was at the park last week and was talking to a monorail conductor about the track and if there were any future plans for it, and he had told me they closed it because they were having way too many technical problems with the ride.

but referring to the topic: I've been on the original submarine voyage and the people mover before (went on the motor boat cruise but I was way too young to remember). The one attraction I do wish I could have gone on was the mule ride through the Painted Desert.

Re: What Attraction would you have gone on if you were around

Although I adore Disneyland today, I sure wish that I could go back to the 50's or 60's in the park.

Rocket to the Moon (I just love the Moonliner!)
Skyway
Peoplemover
Flying Saucers
Original Submarine Voyage
Original Autopia
Adventure Through Inner Space

Some more, but I can't think of them.

Oh! I remember now! Definitely House of the Future and the old Astro Jets and Rocket Jets.

Oathkeeper, I like your avatar and name. Kingdom Hearts is fantastic! Who else wants a Kingdom Hearts ride, or at least for Disney theme parks to sell some merchandise from the game?

Conestoga Wagons
All the parades and shows that I missed
I cannot remember seeing Captain Eo
The displays in Tomorrowland like Hisotry of Fashion, Crane Bathroom, etc.
Maxwell's Bra shop
Shop at the shops that I missed
Eat at restaurants I missed out on.
The 20,000 leagues under the Sea exhibit.
The moonliner or what ever that ground version of the monorail was.

I want to do everything I have not done in the past.

I'm sure that I went on Skyway, Astro Jets and PeopleMover when I was younger.
I would love to ride both The skyway to tomorrowland adventure through inner space and rainbow caverns mine train.
What ever happen to Captain EO or CircleVision?

thanks =) apparently WDW did a little bit of promotion when the original CoM game came out (they actually had a Sora mascot character running around, I'll see if I can find the picture of it). I'd love if more of the parks had KH merch, but I bet theres something in the contract between them and SquareEnix that prevents them from doing so.

That would be great! Yeah, I heard somewhere that they had KH characters that you could take pictures with during Halloween at the parks, and I guess they had playable demos of the games at the Innovations building. However, this information isn't official, I heard it from someone on the internet. There may be some kind of contract. The only place I can find any of the merch is on the SquareEnix official online shop. Another theory is that Disney might not want to sell merchandise at the parks because they may think that it wont sell well to the general public. Many people might not know what it is.

yeah, that last part I think would probably be another reason as to why there isn't any KH merch in any of the shops (though I did someone wearing one of the new KHII shirts).
but success! I have found a picture of the Sora mascot character they had over in WDW during the Halloween event:
Sora - wdwautographs.com - Disney World Meet and Greet Characters 2003-2009

honestly I think it would have been way better if they had used a real person instead of a mascot type character. but he still would have been cool to meet.
