| Re: How fast can u run the mile? I think I'm either 6 or 7 minutes, but we were running in super cold, windy weather, and I think it was one and a half miles. I think I was the second fastest girl. One of the perks of being tall!

| Re: How fast can u run the mile? My best time was, 8:05 or so.....not bad considering my gym teacher was always mad at me for walking and getting 11's. One day I just busted out that 8 minuter, he was shocked.....hehe

| Re: How fast can u run the mile? Short people can run fast as well. However, it can be easier for some tall people considering they probably have longer legs. It really just depends on the person.

| Re: How fast can u run the mile? I can do it in less than 6 minutes but considering the shape I was in, that was oretty slow. My guess would be between 6 and 5 minutes when I am in optimal shape.

| Re: How fast can u run the mile? They don't make you play a sport? At my school, it is required to spend 2 seasons playing a sport or doing PE. Or you can test out which not many people do because we are a private school and we need as many people as we can get to play sports. So I am doing water polo and swimming. And since they are water sports I am not sure how fast I can run the mile. But at the end of summer when I was conditioned from both Junior Lifeguards and Hell Week for Water Polo, I could probably swim the mile somewhere around 20-25 minutes. |
