How fast can u run the mile?

Actually Splash that is really good. Did you just start running this year? I use to run Cross Country, and 10k's, Half Marathons.

Mine was 5:15

Ummm..back when I had to run the mile..I think my fastest time was like 15 minutes. I hated running, and I always got side cramps after like 3 minutes of running.

my fatest time- not so fast is 8 1/2 minutes. Each mile after that would progressively decrease to an average of 10 1/2 minutes per mile.

Splash- your time is very good!

Um... I could run 5 km in about 20 minutes, and there are 1.7 kilometres in a mile. So thats about 3 miles... so thats about 6 min 30 seconds per mile.

Not bad.

I couldn't do that anymore of course, I haven't had PE in ages and lost all the great running ability I developed that year I had a crazy gym teacher.

Last year, my best mile time was 10:30...
my worst, 13:40

I'm a very slow paced jogger, BUT I can keep up my pace for about 4 miles before I start to die down

My fastest time ever was 7:41 seconds. Not bad for all the girls at my school. They're all so lazy. I was also in Cross Country, and, on my first race, I got 13th place. It was not bad. We had to run a mile every morning while we waited for our teachers to pick us up. Every week it increased in the amount of laps (4 laps=1 mile; 5 laps=1 mile and 1/4; 6 laps=1 mile and 1/2).

So, yes, I can say I was pretty good.

Hehe. My best ever, in my whole entire life, is 9:04.

But since I'm being slower than ever this year, my fastest in the past 3 weeks is 10:21.

I don't have P.E. in high school because I play soccer and tennis instead. I run quite a bit to stay in shape for those sports though, and last year for my Final for tennis, I ran 1 mile in 5:56.
