I'm a bit disoppointed when they got rid of the old disneyland TV shows they used to show at 1:00 AM.

Re: Disney Channel

I hardly watch TV. Often I hear disney channel in the background while I'm typing away. Their shows are fine, but most of them aren't for me. If a good eposiod of That's so Raven, - I like the fashion part of it. - Hannah Montana, or The Suit Life of Zack and Cody I might actually sit down and watch it. We finally got FEARNET OnDemand so I'm watching that more.

You bring up something that we have discussed in many other threads on MiceChat. I'm curious to know what you all think.

Now I'm 50 years old, so you might suspect that I enjoyed watching some of the "Vault Disney" stuff they used to show overnight. (The very first "Disneyland" shows, Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, a lot of the stuff you pay for now in the "Treasures" DVD's.)

We've even tried to petition the channel to return the feature, to no avail. Myself, I'm in favor of a "Disney Classic" channel created along the lines of TV Land or the Disney-owned ESPN Classic.

Would folks your age have any thoughts about that?

Thank you for reading mine.

Re: Disney Channel

I remember watching Zoog Disney - bring back the robots! LOL They were so awesome.

I remember watching shows like Zorro, the Mousketeers ( hard to believe that people like Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilara were once little Mousketeers... ), and all those old shows. I REALLY wish they would bring 'em back. Boy Meets World, Lizzie McGuire, and THAT'S SO RAVEN ( I still can't believe the show ENDED - to be replaced by Cory in the House - OK Show, but NOT AS GOOD!!!!!!!! )

- I'm 13 in case you wanted to know -

Re: Disney Channel

I love Disney Channel myself. I've grown up watching it, and even though I haven't seen much Zoog Disney or other shows that used to be on DC I like almost all the shows . The animated ones aren't really for me however.

It's sad that That's So Raven was canceled - Cory in the House is good, but it's a little more cheesy. Good thing it (TSR) still runs!

They aren't filming anymore, but they have episodes that were already filmed but not released.

I'm probably going to watch the dance along version of Jump In! tomorrow. Speaking of Jump In!, I'm listening to Jump to the Rhythm on the soundtrack right now

Some of us older folks are a lot dissappointed. But after dozens of threads here, email writing campaigns, etc...they've turned a deaf ear. They don't care about older demographics - even for an hour in the middle of the night!

That's too bad, in my opinion. The Disney Channel used to have things for all ages. Not so any more, for a long time.

Re: Disney Channel

im in LOVE with Disney Channel.
yes i know, they do over act things...but thats one of the reasons i love it so much. it gives the little corny edge kids our age like.
you still have to agree that for being so young and having to learn every episode within a week, they have EXTREME talent
One of the shows i think the actors and actresses WAYYYYY over act in is 'Cory in the House' i've seen the show been taped like...2 or 3 times...and they are REALLY crazy while filming they look like they're enjoying them selves every minute. the recent episode. with the Juicer was one of the episodes i went to go see. they are all such nice people. Kyle Massey. is extremely halarious though. if you ever get the chance to meet him, he'll make you laugh non-stop.
