What do you do when friends go bad?

I am having that same problem. What i am doing on Tuesday is confronting them. If you cant live without this friend then talk to them, at any expense. Talk to their friends and ask them what is wrong. Friends can help you get through anything they can also make good psychiatrists. Talk it out with them, they can help you make up a plan to get this bad person to talk to you i hope you get everything sorted out

I HAVE had this happen, where a friend will ignore me for NO REASON, and I have to find out through SOMEONE ELSE what really happened. Some people are just jerks... Then you have the other extreme to those people: they're called MC.

yeah my one friends does that to me...but when i ask her why she says that its because i can take the rejection... and her other set of friends can't

! my friend claims i have changed.. DUH! i have grown up, no offense but she's stuck in 6th grade. We're going to be seniors next year and she needs to grow up. I asked her once why she was doing it and she says: 'Angel you've changed way too much, i like these guys, and besides you seem to be taking me not being your friend really well' PFFT Right Sure -.-that excuse is such CRAP w/e i have new and better friends. Oh AND she has decided to call me her best friend when she wants to know my business.. i told a friend something and she was telling my other Best friend for me and Stephanie(the one who is treating me like crap) goes: 'Tell me! I'm Angel's best friend!' -.- that's Fake BS and it gets on my nerves, you're either my friend or not. And frankly, if you're going to act like that, screw you.

If you asked me this i would say it depends, only if you feel strongly because if it doesn't work out, lets just say things wont ever be the same.

I usually just stop talking to them or drop contact. Usually, they get the message and want to know why. Then I try to explain why I think they "went bad" and why I don't want to hang around them anymore. Sometimes they understand, and sometimes they don't...:/

I had a really good friend, we had been friends for about 4 years.. he got in with the wrong group of people, he does drugs and enjoys vandalizing other peoples property, i can't belive it because he was a really nice person.. i don't hang out with him anymore i don't want to be around people with that behavior.. come to think of it i haven't talked and/or seen him in months. It's actually kind of sad really..

Au Contraire! It is really rather good... at least for you. I know exactly how you feel about people like this. They are not worth your time. You can look back at the times you had with the person and remember how good they were, but you can not regret losing the person. That person changed. They aren't the same person that you knew. Most of the time, we can't explain why a change like that happens, but it does. We have to forget about them, because the person we once knew is now gone. We have to look forward and move on. We have to make new friends and have great times with them.

Drugs. I remember a whole group of my friends started smoking weed and they always said they would stick just to that till they got into harder drugs. Thats when I parted ways with them.
