Hey everyone, I just wanted to start a mom appreciation thread. My mom has been so supportive of me throughout the years, and I was wondering if anyone has any stories of moms being well..awesome moms!

Good God my mom deserves so much more than she has. Just for putting up with me, she needs to be put on a pedestal, lol. I don't even want to know what the price tag on me is!

Well my mum really 'rocks', she puts up with my teenage attitude and my twin little brothers attitudes (10)... she does everything possible for me since my father isn't in my life. I owe her so much.

My mom is the hardest working lady I know. I think she deserves something special for how many times she gets yelled at, at work but still keeps going for my sake. She is my hero my idol, she is my MOM. The greatest lady on earth in my point of view.

My mom is totally awesome - my dad passed away when I was 11, so just the fact that she is raising me on her OWN, while she has her job, it's great - I <3333 her soooo much - she's perfect

Of course my mom does! She's the one that took over the Raytheon symposium/convention so that it would be held at the Disneyland hotel for a week!

Just this weekend we spent like $300 at Hollister and American Eagle!
I <3 her so much she deserves an award, or a beach house (her dream, mine being becoming a WDW CEO to buy that beachhouse for her

Why yes she does, she loves rock music. today happens to be her birthday

And my mom AND dad are the same way. my mom will spend lotsa money at hollister & abercrombie. and my dad will pretty much buy anything. he thought the new ipod nano was like $500 and he's like "no, probably not" then i was like "it's $200" he's like "ONLY $200?! hey thats really cheap!" he loves technical stuff. My mom, loves clothes but is so pickky! I thank her for always letting me choose were i wanna shop.

My mom & my dad are amazing.

My Mom Is Really Sweet

in the Morning She Watches some of the Younger Kids that live around us and puts themm on the bus so there Mom And Dad can go to work and dont have to pay extra money for there kid to go to day care or someing in the morning

My Dad on the Other Hand Loves Tecno Stuff He Gets Me Stuff Like IPods and other things... But Im Not Allowed to Get a lap top till i go to collage >_< Oh Well At Least I Have Him

My mom rocks... but NOT because she buys me everything that I want. She doesn't try to be my best friend, she just tries to be my mom. Because of that, I pretty much owe her my life. She always punished me for being selfish, so I've learned not to be. She taught me to respect people, so I respect people. She taught me that I don't need $100 jeans or a $50 top, so I don't.
I think that she is awesome because she did everything humanly possible to make me and my siblings good people. She took a job in sales even though she had a much better job and a degree (even though she is embaressed her friends make much more than her). She wanted to make sure she had the time to make sure that she gained our affection, not purchased it. Even though she had to suffer through our tears, she would punish us when we acted out. She didn't keep the house spotless, but who remembers if the laundry wasn't folded?

I think a major problem is that too many parents want to just be best friends with their kids... and kids don't want all their best friends to be 40. I never want to have to raise kids because I know that I am just one of those people who seeks approval from the people around me... so I would probably never want my kids to be mad at me. But I know that now... so problem avoided.
