Your School's Most Annoying/Dumb Rules

At My Stupid Middle School Blanky Bank (hehe) we cant
Tank Tops
Skirts
Shorts
Capris ( only if they are 4 inches under our Knee! our KNEE! ( not yelling..or am i Id even know @_@ anyway.. )
And the WORST PART WE CANT WEAR FLIP FLOPS AH! @_@

We can wear flip flops at Bellarmine...Its an all boys school (it has its advantages and setbacks) so we can virtually wear ANYTHING that we want. If one of the water polo players decided to wear his speedo to classes...he almost certainly could (Water Polo is KING at Bell) So yeah! NO DRESS CODE PROBLEMS THERE!

My school is getting a new principal AND vice, so lucky me, the rules are going to change
I think the dumbest rule[s] we had last year were:
-You MUST sit down during lunch and may not wander over to another table without permission
-We were not allowed to 'pretend to fight' because 'it's too risky'

But, dresscode is fine. As long as the tank top straps are ATLEAST 2-3 fingers wide [they didn't care tho], and shorts and skirts had to be as long or longer than an outstretched arm. No piece of clothing is allowed to advertise drugs, alcohol, sexual acts [you know the drill.] But that was pretty much it. My school is pretty basic when it comes to violence tho. Oh, yeah, if you write on your desk, even by accident, it's considered vandalism and you are suspended and must pay a certain amoutn of money to get whatever was damaged, repaired. Even if the janitor could just wipe it off with water..
Yea, my school isn't all that bad.

And that's why I posted it here

The other day, some nasty affection was happening during free gym period. We get to go outside, and pretty much do nothing. There's this HUGE group I like to call the 'others.' Two weeks ago was the Grade 11/12 trip to Niagra Falls for 3 days. All the people in the 'others' group didn't get to go, because of a certain amount of suspensions, permission, money, etc, and even just because they were actually Grade 9/10..
Anyways, to get to my point, lets just say they were in a huge "group hug." Things were 'undone' and tops..I'm not going to explain. They were just joking with that stuff even. Nothing really happend but they made the teachers on duty, believe so. Idk why, so don't ask! Anyways. The 'others' aren't allowed to hug each other at all anymore. One of the girls who is in that 'group' is in my Grade. She is in ALL of my classes tho..She went around hugging everyone in Social Studies, while the teacher was out of the room, for a 'hug contest' and when she leaned over to hug one of the guys..

At my school, we are not allowed to wear one glove, because it's supposedly gang-related attire. Wear one glove - you're suspended for nine days. I've never heard of a gang who wears one glove. Since there IS apparently a gang that wears one glove, but no one knows what it is except the assistant prinicipal who came up with the rule, we simply refer to it as "The Michael Jackson Gang".

Lol, no. One, we're not allowed to fight for real, and two, if we pretend, you get sent to the "problem solving room" Thank goodness I'm getting a new Principal and Vice.

My school has had a lot of stuff with dress code lately. They threatened to give us uniforms, or to not allow any logos or pictures on clothing and only shirts where you could touch the neckline with your chin. But instead we only can't wear sleeveless shirts or clothing with any holes or even a little bit of fraying, the way things come when you buy them. And we aren't allowed to have cell phones or iPods at any time during school hours except lunch, so that includes between classes. If they get taken away, only parents are allowed to pick them up.

Whats really irritating about my school is they won't give you more than 2 spare periods a year, even if you have enough credits to graduate!

I was very pissed about that one, but am currently enjoying my spare periods.

Other than that my school is pretty lax. Today in chem I got sent on a mission to get my teacher a burrito from 7-11 for him.

hmm i hate the fact that seniors that drive... can't leave campus for lunch. We have to eat the disgusting excuse for what they call food. and they wonder why america is obese....

When I was a junior, sophomore, and freshman (I'm a senior now) we didn't even have parking! You HAD to be a senior for a parking permit, even though I parked where the teachers only spots were [hehe].

The dress-code really bugs me at my school - well there is none, but you should see how some people dress -_- It is completely crazy. Wow...I sound old...

Other than that, the dress code is completely unreasonable, the time limits etc. Like for class we get 6 minutes... with all the idiots that stand in the way and block the hallway i can never get to class on time. AND the exam exemption criteria.
