Re: From Tiki Room with Stitch.

I guess I can see why the got rid of the pre-show...if it's as long as the main show, that won't work. They could have come up with something though....An AA Lilo looking for Stitch would have been cool...but, yeah, that didn't happen...

I'd be receptive to a change at WDW, certainly much better than what we currently have.

This sounds like something they should do for a seasonal layover... not a permanent addition. But thanks for posting the pics. I enjoyed seeing them even if I'm not exactly a fan of the idea.

    Thanks TDLFAN for the pictures.

    Ditto.

If they felt like going beyond just a direct copy (which is all too likely at WDW) they could redress/retheme Uhoha (that right there tells you how cheesy WDW's is) and place her in the pre-show area.

More than likely, to please even casual fans of any of the Tiki room shows, they would have to find a way to retain the original theme song and thunderstorms.

The photos are brilliant and crisp TDLFAN. The Mist blowing out from the rock looks soooo inviting. Talk about a rockin' way to cool off. The show itself looks to be alot of fun. I'll obviously never "Catch The Fever.

The new Tiki Room show looks just as good. I just saw a video, which I am placing on a new thread.

    No pre-show?

I admit the birds in the Stitch ears are actually cute.

I like that yellow shirt! Is that for the kiddies or adults?

No pre-show = EPIC FAIL, especially in Tokyo!

Come on, this is the same resort that just built a Tower of Terror with one of the best pre-shows anywhere! StormRider has an equally enormous pre-show. They didn't think it was worth it to make a decent pre-show for this attraction? That's incredibly un-Tokyo!

The Yellow shirt is the small kids' design. Adults get the brown one.

From what i've heard, the attraction is only 8-9 minutes long. I don't believe that is long enough to warrant a preshow. But what do I know? I'm just a 15 year old kid.

Awwww man! I don't like the brown one. Too bad I can't fit into a kid's large or XL.

Tower's ride is a whopping 3 minutes long, if that. I've never known length of ride to be a factor when considering a pre-show. Sounds like a move made in cheapness, which as I said, is very un-Tokyo.

True, but you have to factor in the wait of the second queue.

But, yes, I agree with you. I mean, in theory, Haunted Mansion could have no wait time after the Stretching Room pre-show because of the continuous loading and unloading. And that ride is LONGER than the pre-show! I think Tower's pre-show breaks even with the ride time.

Great pics, Thanks. I think Stitch is a horrible idea for the Tiki Room. An annoying character. Maybe OLC will rethink their planned characterization fo TDS after this. Let's hope.

    Seasonal for what holiday though?
