Just before dinner, we headed out to the Mira Costa to soak in the ambience.
My what a wonderful hotel.
Even if you are not staying here, you've got to visit it. It's just so beautiful.
You really feel like you are in Italy.

By then, we were really hungry, so after dinner, all tired out, we went back to the hotel for an early night's rest.
Next up Disneyland !
From the useful advice that everyone gave here, we woke up bright and early and headed to the park way before the park opened.
As hotel guest, we get to queue at a special area of the entrance.
I was there about an hour before opening. There was already a decent crowd on the normal queues.
It was a monday too. Guess there are no "empty" days at TDR.

The Halloween decorations were up, although not officially stage 3 yet. (This was taken on my 3rd day)
About ten minutes before the gates opened, there was a buzz in the air. The characters came out to greet the guests.
Eeyore looked so sad, I expected a rain cloud to be following him.
As usual Mickey and Minnie drew the loudess responses. [my photography skills suck]
Then the gates opened and the mad rush began. Some of the guests would just run towards their favourite rides. Others would rush to get pictures taken with their favourite characters. You had to queue to get pictures taken with Pooh and Mickey. The rest were basically free for all.
It was kinda fun rushing with the rest of them.
However, you could easily take pictures with the less popular ones, like Robin hood, Friar Tuck, Piglet, etc.

Great Trip Report here and I love how your adding very little in commentry and letting the beautiful pictures tell the story. Looks like you picked a good time to visit too, as the parks don't look to crowded. And one thing that keeps coming up is just how good the TDR Castmembers are at there jobs. Loving it all so far

TDL looks so amazing, and that hotel is stunning! I'd love to go sometime in the future, although I'll need to save some pennies first!

Apparantly, the online booking system is not working well.
Just call the number first thing in the morning japan time (9am). It starts off in Japanese, wait a while and do not press anything. It will switch to english in a couple of mins. You'll get a english speaking operator who will do the reservations for you. Sometimes, you might have to call back if there is no english operator.

At this point in time, I'm not too sure how to proceed as I have a ton of pictures and not sure how to organise them. So, from this point onwards, I might seem more disorganised than usual
So after the mad rush, (I managed to get some pics taken with the characters which I'll show later) we entered the world bazaar.
And ran, .... ok, walked briskly ( man, I'm out of shape), to Pooh's Hunny Hunt.
And grabbed Fast Passes ! In the middle of the day, the standby queues were 90 mins long.
This was taken around 12 noon. The FPs were almost all out.
The ride deserved all the hype that it generates. During our 2 days, we managed to ride it 4 times, and it never gets old. I especially like the room with the heffalumps. Too bad the honey pot goes too fast for me to take any pictures with flash.
After grabbing our FPs, we went to Toontown. Halloween decorations were up.

Mickey's house had a short waiting time (10 mins). It was lucky for us that we went in, for as I found out later, the waiting time throughout the day was 40 mins or more, even before closing time.

Great, You can take a photo with mickey. On my trip,a quequ for mickey's house is very very long.
