![]() | Re: Trip Report : 7 Sept 08 to 11 Sept 08 Please tell me Mickey's laundry actually has water in it and it slushes around while you wait. That would be the coolest little detail in there if it did.

![]() | Re: Trip Report : 7 Sept 08 to 11 Sept 08 After a 2 day break, I'm back. ![]() So after playing around in Toontown, we headed to Tomorrowland. Took a ride on Grand Ciruit Raceway, grab FPs for Buzz Lightyear and then went to see "One Man's Dream II". ![]() I love the starting when the black and white scene turns to colour. ![]() The giant Tick Tock ![]() Peter Pan and Wendy flying ![]() The Finale ![]() It's an excellent show. Highly recommended. I saw it twice ![]() |

![]() | Re: Trip Report : 7 Sept 08 to 11 Sept 08 After lunch, we took some fantasyland rides, like the teacups and carousel, and of course, it's a small world. ![]() We then headed to Adventureland to catch the excellent "Minnie Oh Minnie". ![]() As you can see, we were quite far back as we were hiding in the shade of the trees. It was a hot day at the park. Of course, can't miss Pirates. ![]() The girls were just crazy over Jack Sparrow. ![]() ![]() The Stitch/Tiki Birds show was too short and not enough music for me. But it was a welcome break from the hot sun. It was almost time for Jubilation. So like the rest of folks in the park, I made my way to the plaza 1 hour before the parade and scouted out a good place to camp out. ![]() Next up, Jubilation Photos and lots of them. |

![]() | Re: Trip Report : 7 Sept 08 to 11 Sept 08 Zeek, you should know by now that OLC only hires great looking handsome younger males to play the face characters. Unlike at WDW.. where Prince Charming last week looked well in his 40s.

That said, OLC is the only company that makes sure their Peter Pan actually looks like a teenager. I really can't stand seeing pictures of Peters, especially given HD technology these days, where I can see morning stubble. Kind of takes me out of the moment. ![]()

![]() | Re: Trip Report : 7 Sept 08 to 11 Sept 08 *does a Google search* Huh, well I'll be... You've got a strong case there, as that's how I remember seeing Peter last at WDW. Sad, huh?

![]() | Re: Trip Report : 7 Sept 08 to 11 Sept 08 As promised, Jubilation ! First, I got to say that I love this parade. I'm not a regular disney park visitor, and so I cannot compare this to the other parades, but I could not stop smiling and waved like a little kid. The floats were gorgeous and bright, the music catchy and the CMs interacted with the crowd. Once in a while, the parade would stop and "What time is it" would play and the parade CMs would dance right in front of you. All in all, it was worth choosing a right spot and waiting 1 hour or more for. The pictures taken here were from 2 days and taken at different areas of the central plaza. So here goes. |
