Brandis, there is a note on the web site that says:

Please note that online reservations are not available for all rooms in the hotels, and room availability as listed on this website may differ from room availability as given over the telephone.

So, not all the rooms may be there. You may have to call for partial view rooms.

Partial Views are my favorite. So I still will have to call them at 1 AM, 6 month out, to score one. :-)

I wonder why they have to make things so difficult for those people who would like to make reservations at the TDR hotels. Then again.. they are so worth it.

I agree! At least the MiraCosta, the other 2 I only know from the outside.

You have to see it that way, the phone call to the reservation center is part of the adventure and thrill of the vacation preparation. You miss that when using the online form.

I dunno... waiting in line for an english speaking operator does not seem that "thrilling" to me.

I actually never had to wait, except while the japanese / english spiel is playing, after that I always got someone on the phone who spoke very good english.

And even the spiel is exciting to me as every time I called I heard some words I was already familiar with, speak about learning progress.

Re: New planning website in English

Hi, I booked both our hotels for our stay next month through this website just so I could make online priority seatings. Has anyone done this or know how? I can fing it on the webpage, my booking page or my travel case. I can find the FAQ's but that only tells me that I can do it - not how!

    thanks in advance

I was thinking of purchasing tickets for my upcoming trip in advance but have decided against it, as I think the system thats set up is pointless. I can purchase any ticket I want but have to pick them up at the TDR Welcome Centre, and will be charged when I collect them. I may as well just buy them on the day of visit.

I always just buy them at the desk in my hotel, whether it's one of the Disney hotels or the Hilton Tokyo Bay. There's never any kind of line, the price is the same, so why not?

If you're staying at the resort, there really is no reason to buy tickets in advance, as you're guaranteed the ability to purchase tickets for all registered guests even on "sold out" days. But, if you're staying elsewhere, then buying date-specific tickets online will guarantee your ability to get a ticket for that day.
