Tokyo Disneyland & Walt Disney Records/Avex Japan is getting ready to release a 12 CD Box Set of 25 Years of wonderful music from Tokyo Disneyland Park & Tokyo Disney Sea!. The set runs about $300 us dollars and as of right now is only available to pre-order for japan adresses only. Details are unsure if this set will be available for US orders but its a fabulous set! However, there are restrictions on the amount of liquor, cigarettes and medicines...etc that you bring. As for the CD set, as long as it is not a fake cd (or dvd) like those sold illegally in China or Phillipines, it should be OK to import into the USA.

When I went to my Study Abroad last year, I bought well over $800 worth of stuff, but it was mostly books from the art shows and galleries I'll only get to see once in my life.

I think it may vary slighty depending upon where you visit but according to this page Sample Customs Declaration Form - CBP.gov the average exemption is $800.00 per person.
