The Collection: TDR's Murals & Artwork

There is an upcoming book about WDI's use of art and illustration in theme parks. As someone keen on illustration and artwork, I've always really enjoyed this aspect of the parks. From what I've seen, TDR, particularly DisneySea is the ultimate when comes to theme park art. As someone who has not yet been, I've started this thread for posting/appreciating the artwork (particularly the murals) that can be found at TDR for the benefit of those of us who have not yet seen it firsthand.

Is this upcoming book dedicated exclusive to TDR or does it encompass the other Disney parks too?

All of them. But don't hold your breath... it's a similar situation to Imagineering Legends, where it was said to be published in 2006 but was delayed for years and no one really knew when it would finally become available.

I should slap you for comparing DCA to the greatness that is TDR as a whole.

Hey now, DCA does have a few nice artistic details. They are just VERY hard to notice given the rest of the park.

It's a shame the other parks don't evoke the same sense of beauty as TDS.

It's also a shame that book may be delayed. I want to see detailed photographs of the TDS Goddesses that made their park debute during Minnie's Wishing Ring.
