DisneySea Character Questions

I have a few questions about characters at DisneySea that I'm hoping maybe you guys could answer for me:

Can I still see the Rescuers at DisneySea?

If I want to get a photo with Duffy, what's my best plan? 1st thing in the morning or later in the day?

Is Horizon Bay a character dining location? The website says it is, but then gives no info on it.

Any other unusal characters here that I would never see in the states?

I have seen the rescuers appear in the Waterfront Park area and by the Broadway Theater. Not sure if they are there daily, and you may have to inquire with Guest Relations. Most recently, the Rescuers performed in the Xmas show "Candlelight Reflections."
Photos with Duffy... early morning, and you may have to wait there in line until he shows up. That may mean being there as much as 30-45 mins before the meet time. However, this is also dependable on crowds at the park. I have had luck and seen the lines very short, or have caught Duffy walking around Cape Cod.. Again, check with guest relations.
Horizons remains a character dinner place.. Not sure what the menu is or if they only do that at certain hours.. but be prepared to pay a lot of money for the chance to have your picture with the characters. I would skip this.
Unusual characters... Hmm.. Prince Eric, his dog and chef do meets at Mermaid Lagoon. I have seen Abu in Arabian Coast. Daisy, Marie and Clarice can be found at the park at certain times. Even Jiminy Cricket is out on Mediterranean Harbor...

Isn't chef Louie from Little Mermaid out on occasion at Mermaid Lagoon? I remember seeing pics of him posted awhile back and was shocked because I didn't know he even existed as a walkaround character.

I caught Scrooge McDuck by Tower of Terror. I was like a kid, i grew up on Ducktales this was fantastic. Another great detail TDR has so many different characters that haven't been locked away and forgotten like other places....

I caught Scrooge McDuck by Tower of Terror.

I saw him in Tomorrowland at WDW's MK last year. I was surprised to see a relatively obscure character at the MK. As I watched him, most people were calling him Donald. That must be frustrating since he can't talk back.

I spotted Scooge recently at the Magic Kingdom in Fantasyland. The park had set up a Christmas photo spot for Donald Duck. However Scooge was used in between breaks much to the annoyance of Guest who had waited to meet Scooge and got stuck with Donald instead. I don't think this would had been a problem but the CastMembers didn't care to comunicate to the Guest that the two would soon be switching.



I have also recently spotted Clarice at the Studios in Paris, so the more unique characters are starting to turn up else where and we certainly have Tokyo Disney Resort to thank for this...

I saw Clarice at WDW's Magic Kingdom last summer. I got my photo with her.

I have to say that Disney did a great job designing the Clarice costume. It's very hard to get a "shapely" character like that to look good when you have different body types playing her. She's also got a cute face. A great addition to the character lineup, if you ask me, allthough very obscure since she only showed up in one cartoon short...

One very memorable short, if not the most popular of the Chip & Dale shorts. There's something classic about a slap-stick duo like those two fighting over the same stage singer.

LOL, yeah, well, they only made that short to throw off the scent...lest people continue to think Chip & Dale were the first gay cartoon characters!

I'm joking of course, but that's the way I view that short. Compare it to, say, "Out of Scale", where Chip & Dale act like a domestic couple sleeping in the same bed and all...

Pinocchio and Gepetto are out in the mornings in med harbor.. Duffy was out by NY Harbor just be patient he is one of the most pop characters in the land
