Would like to say Happy Birthday to TDL too. Although i have a chance to visit for 25th year anninversary only on 1st and 2nd Stage, But i hope that i will go to visit TDL in between Halloween and Christmas soon.

Quick update from the park..
The crowds were not as bad as I had anticipated... maybe because they chose not to do an event to go with the opening of the ride.. still, they ran out of Fastpasses by 9:20am, and the line to get a FP started in front of the Crystal Palace around 8:40am.
They did a small opening ceremony for the press in World Bazaar for Monters. It was a very nice mostly sunny day and in the 70sF. Perfect to be at the park.
Most 25th anniversary references were already removed from the park... but the castle and main entrance still had the 25th anniversary decor on, but this may have been due to the rainy and windy weather overnight. All the 25th anniversary decor at TDS is gone. BTW.. TDS was very slow and TOT was a walk on.
There are new shopping bags featuring Monsters and Spring Carnival, and both parks unveiled new designs for their respective guidemaps and "Today" show schedules. One bit of shock.. there was no free giveaway gift at the entrance as has been the case in all previous anniversary days.. but they were handing at souvenir "newpaper" at the exit of "Monsters" as a keepsake. I took over 400 pics today.. will post a trip report sometime next week.

This was a little shocking to me, too. Sadly, the signs were there when the "present" calender links (with dates for future giveaways) were removed from TDR website. At this time, I guess they stopped doing it for any number of reasons.

I'm looking forward to your 26th & Monsters opening photos as well. Hopefully they will not be doing away with giveaways- I've only managed to be there once for a pin giveaway at TDS a few years ago.

I am looking forward to the 30th now- having already seen the 20th and 25th.

Must be budgets. OLC is following the WDC lead and offering nothing special to guests.... not even the nice metal buttons to identify guests who are at the park for their birthdays.

I say, good riddance.

Those "special presents" were more trouble than they were worth, with underhanded people stealing more than their share and even sending children in to ask for more.

Who really cares about a worthless souvenir anyway? It's certainly not worth ruining the magic for the customer who shows up AFTER all the goodies have already been given away (thanks to double dipping).

I don't really care about the other stuff (too much^^), but some parks have metal birthday buttons?! Oh man! With my birthday coming up next month (ugh!), I'm really sad to hear that. Honestly, every time I've seen someone in the parks for their birthday, I've thought they should have a pin or something - I didn't know it happens in other places! Poop.

Anyway, what I really wanted to say...^^

Now that I've actually been in the parks for the 26th year, I'd like to say "Happy Birthday," too. I'm more excited about Spring Carnival than I ever thought I would be, and I'm really looking forward to Club M, Tanabata, Bonfire Dance and Halloween, too! And to Christmas, when I can finally compare the 25th Anniversary and my first "Disney experience" with a seasonal event in a different year. That'll be fun.
